About PD Guide

A free, independent directory of professional development for independent school educators — curated from across the field, updated twice daily.

What it is

PD Guide aggregates upcoming professional development opportunities from over 60 national and regional organizations serving independent schools — including conferences, institutes, workshops, webinars, and fellowship programs. Events can be filtered to show opportunities relevant to faculty, staff, and administrators at independent schools.

The goal is simple: one place to find what professional development opportunities are out there.

Who it's for

Independent school educators in any role — classroom teachers, department chairs, division heads, counselors, learning specialists, business officers, advancement staff, facilities personnel, school leaders, etc. Use the filters to narrow by topic, role, format, or date.

How it works

We update source the events page twice daily to display new listings. Events are tagged by topic, audience, subject area, and format to narrow opportunities provide at a glance. Registration links go directly to the host organization's website — PD Guide does not process registrations or payments.

Suggest a source

Know an organization that should be included? Use the feedback form to suggest it. We review suggestions periodically add new sources based on community demand — organizations that come up repeatedly across independent suggestions tend to move to the top of the list. PD Guide is a small independent project and genuinely relies on the community to stay complete.
