Our Source Organizations

How we review submissions

PD Guide is a curated directory. We review every submission to ensure our directory remains a trusted, high-quality resource for independent school educators. While we welcome suggestions from the community, not every organization will be added.

When reviewing a submission, we consider:

• Relevance to independent schools — Does this organization offer professional development that is directly applicable to independent/private school educators, administrators, or staff?
• Track record — Has the organization been offering professional development programming for at least two years?
• Quality of offerings — Are programs led by experienced educators, researchers, or recognized practitioners in their field?
• Accessibility — Are events or programs available to educators beyond a single institution?
• Distinctiveness — Does the organization offer something not already well-represented in our directory?

We typically review submissions within two weeks. Organizations that are added will appear in our directory once our team has configured them for inclusion. We're unable to provide individual feedback on submissions that are not accepted, but we appreciate every suggestion — it helps us understand what our community values.
