About this event
These regular gatherings are for educators (teachers, advisors, deans, counselors, chaplains, and administrators) who are interested in cultivating purposeful, human-centered and inquiry-led approaches to teaching, learning, and school leadership.
The focus of each meeting will be based on Life Worth Living principles and pedagogy, as emphasized in the eponymous Yale University course and book, including truth-seeking pluralism; the pursuit of existential meaning; first-person engagement; and building communities of inquiry in the classroom and beyond. Reading or adhering to the specific principles of the book/program is not an expectation of the department meeting. Rather this will be an opportunity for participants will to share and workshop ideas together in a generative and encouraging atmosphere.
