Facilitating and Implementing Strong Associate Teacher Programs brings together administrators, Associate Teacher Program directors, mentor teachers, instructional leaders, and professional development leaders from independent and private schools across New York State for a collaborative day focused on strengthening Associate Teacher Programs. Through expert panel discussions, facilitated roundtables, and collaborative planning sessions, participants will explore best practices in mentorship, instructional coaching, observation and feedback, professional learning, and onboarding early-career teachers. Together, attendees will share experiences and approaches, examine challenges unique to independent schools, build valuable professional networks, and leave with practical strategies to strengthen the training, support, evaluation, and long-term success of novice educators.
