About this event

If you have students with special needs who grapple with a math learning disability, then this seminar is for you. In this NEW activity-rich seminar, outstanding special education teacher and instructional coach Jennifer Castro will share classroom-tested and research-based techniques that have proven successful for students with special needs who have a math learning disability. The focus of this seminar is on the most effective, innovative instructional strategies specifically for bridging the gap in learning. Jennifer's ideas are practical and academically rich. From struggles with math facts to solving challenging problems to providing the just-in-time supports your students need – you will learn more effective ways to get quick results.

Join Jennifer for an energizing, engaging day full of hands-on, powerful strategies and approaches. Help break the cycle of failure that entraps your students struggling with math learning disabilities – show them the way out!

In my many years as a special education teacher, math specialist and instructional coach, I have learned just how critical it is to have dozens of practical, classroom-proven strategies that work for our students with math learning disabilities. As a teacher of students with dyscalculia – a learning disability in math – I understand the challenges of trying to help students with significant math learning needs to find success.

Just like you, I want every student to succeed. For those struggling with a math disability, we want success even more. I have created this seminar specifically to share dozens of practical techniques and tools for making math learning more accessible for students like yours.

Please join me for an interactive, engaging day full of practical ideas and solutions. We'll explore the best strategies for helping your students with special needs overcome the mathematical obstacles that keep them from believing they can learn and do math. We'll examine barriers that curriculum often presents by not targeting the main area(s) of struggle our students with math disabilities face – and what we can do about it.

My goal is to give you the tools needed to remove the obstacles standing in the way of learning success for your struggling students with math learning disabilities. Let's work together to break the cycle of failure and instead show them the way out!

P.S. Join me for an interactive day of learning and leave with an extensive digital resource handbook filled with dozens of practical strategies for supporting your students with special needs in math!
