Music Educators, Influencers, and the Law

Learn about the ethics of social media, being an influencer, and promoting your program from a former Principal, HR Director, and successful YouTuber. Participants will learn how to successfully navigate the boundaries of ethics, professional use of social media, and personal use of social media, including use for monetary gain. Brandon Tucker is a former Music Educator, Fine Arts Supervisor, School Principal, and HR Director who has unique perspectives on both the world of education and social media. He also is the owner and host of the YouTube channel “School Principal Reacts,” where he offers viewers his take on education in media through the lens of a school administrator NAfME presents this live virtual event at no charge to all as a service to the music education profession.
