Drawing on heritage speakers’ bi/multilingual experiences and insights from initial TBLT research with heritage speakers, the webinar offers practical considerations for differentiating tasks and activities to better support learners with diverse linguistic backgrounds and needs. It also invites reflection on the design of pedagogical materials that are responsive to the experiences of heritage speakers.

In this webinar we’ll unpack the new Course and Exam Description, focusing on course framework components, the new course project, and the revised exam, including analytic scoring. We will also discuss what is not changing and constant in our core instruction, but with the goal of weaving in routines that prepare students for the course project and related new exam tasks. Participants will discuss how to adjust instruction and plan for continued AP® success, going forward with confidence.
