The second annual Teaching and Learning Conference on October 26, 2026, will be held at the Long Island Lutheran Middle & High School (LuHi) in Brookville, NY. Join us for a day-long exploration of the best in contemporary independent school teaching and learning. The conference will include keynote addresses from the internationally recognized curriculum and assessment expert, Joe Feldman , as well as additional programming to spark your creativity and broaden your horizons. As we know, some of the very best examples of contemporary teaching and learning take place in our member schools every day. Conference participants will have an opportunity to select two workshops offered by NYSAIS school professionals on a wide range of subjects designed for educators covering the full range of student ages and levels. Finally, the day will end with facilitated meetings by subject and interest area so that teachers from a wide range of settings can explore compelling topics and build networks across schools.
